We offer a fully comprehensive design to build service. Shown below is how your garden design comes together. We understand sometimes design needs can be different, please contact us to discuss your requirements.
1. Free Consultation
Your garden transformation begins with a free consultation. This usually takes about an hour. In this time we take time to listen to your ideas, chat over some initial thoughts, view the garden and gather a feel for the style of design you desire. We can also show our previous work and pictures of garden styles which can help you with your vision.
2. Site survey
Before the next stage we will offer you a design proposal and quotation for the design. If you are happy, we will re-visit and carry out a full site-survey. We will gather all the heights and measurements required to draw up an accurate design of your garden.
3. Design Concept
We will present to you a design of the proposed scheme. You will receive 3D scaled drawings of your garden, this will clearly show you the layout of the garden. At this stage you will also receive several mood boards, including planting, materials and any additional features in the garden. This design pack will give you a good visualisation of how the finished garden will look. Discussions will then take place of any changes needed, which we will then update the final drawings.
4. Construction drawings
Once you are happy with the design, we will then produce detailed construction drawings, which includes, plans with measurements, elevations and any technical drawings and specifications for a particular area of the garden. For example, a bespoke water feature, pergola or sunken seating area. Lighting will also be shown on the plans.
We will then pass the drawings onto the landscapers so they can cost the project and build the garden accurately.
5. Planting plan
We can also produce detailed planting plans, to show exactly where the plants are going, and a mood board to show clearly all the different varieties. We offer different planting packages as we know that every client is different, we can discuss the options of this at the consultation.
Once the planting plan is finalised we will send you over a planting quotation.
We will continue to support you through your project and beyond. We can also offer maintenance if required. Additionally, we offer a free six monthly and yearly development deal. When your garden is completed we will visit with a plant care guide and take you around demonstrating how the plants will grow and how to maintain each one.
We offer the full ‘design-to-build’ service which makes it easier liaising with the one company.
Additional drawings we offer to compliment the package include:
3D perspective drawing – giving you a feel bird’s eye view of your new garden.
Section elevation – this is important if your garden is on a slope. This can be useful to landscapers viewing the different heights.
